As the need for information continues to grow, the easy access and accessibility of the internet will continue to dominate the field. Knowing this means that there will always be a constant push to be the next Google search engine or leading computer Software Company. As technology changes and the ways we use it change there will be a steady shift in the ways we wish to receive and sent information. The internet in my eyes is like the depth of the ocean, we haven’t even begun to explore the possibilities it has for us. It doesn’t matter if it’s a familiar name like Microsoft that takes over this information driven world or a no name company. They will still be driven to meet the needs of the people using it and the technology that complements it. The internet’s vast display of information already seems endless to us, but the truth tells us this is just another start to a larger development. Imagine the internet being completely one hundred percent secure, and all of its users believing in its security. You can eliminate a large portion of the working world and the commuting of these people and give them a at home convenience. You would simply be able to have web conferences that can place you in any meeting. With this in mind think of what these internet based companies would do to be apart of this massive increased use. I think in my life time we will see the first president elected through the use of an online ballot. Once again this cant be offered until we have complete security and believe in its complete security while using the internet. So as technology continues to push forward the rules related to them will adapt to ensure use.

With the recent problems that internet sources like craigslist have brought into the publics eye is only a small window into this world. Craigslist began as almost a big yard sale cite, people personally selling junk with no online restrictions within the selling agreement. This became a monster of its own creation, due to the poor design and limited restrictions. People began to run with the idea, and started to sell absurd things. My favorite I heard about is the selling of personal body skin for tattooed advertisement space. This sites worst feature is that it allows people who already have a pre-determined mind to find/do something illegal a source to meet and work off of. From the numerous postings such as, “just want to have a fun night with new people” illustrates the cites inability to slow and stop simple forms of prostitution. Craigslist is pumping more problems into the system that is already plagued with hard obstacles. In my eyes part of craigslist is just offering opportunities to people who are already troubled and helping them find ways to scam people and salisitate. It has already been proven that it is capable of these things, but little has been done to protect its users from sex crimes, scams and fraud compared to what similar cites offer.

Before we can discuss how greatly the upcoming elections will be impacted by internet sources like facebook and youtube, we hate to look what it has already done. One of youtube's biggest political productions has been a rap style music video with a very alluring female singing for Ney York senator Rudy Juliana. This laid ground for the more recent Obama girl, and instantly created a youthful, but politically driven crowd to follow. i believe and statistics show that there internet sources have pulled in large numbers during political races, especially within college students. During the last presidential race Obama won almost all states dominated with our nation’s colleges. Was this due to Obama’s push for political presents within the internet world. I believe so, and for future years to come we will see how the internet will become the main source for political debate and conquest. Unfortunately all rules still apply, these same outlets used for the benefit of any political campaign can also cripple their chances. I still remember reading about a small town mayor having a myspace account that made her loss her position. The mayors beach bikini shot that was her profile main picture drew controversy over her seriousness as a mayor and resulted in her, basically permanent detachment from the political world. If you are a constant user of facebook you may be aware of its recent problems it faces with its users. Facebook released information stating that all video’s, pictures etc. posted on the site can be saved and used by them in a later date. So naturally this bothered people, and you can see how many pictures of you while you are at the adventurous ages of 18-22 can squander any political driven career you wish to have in a future. You can see how just one of these internet sources can impact a person who is interested in a political career let alone how beneficial these cited are to them once your in that political world.
